Rake definition & structure
InterPoker (and almost every other poker venue and site) makes money by collecting a set percentage of the total pot at the end of every hand. This is called "rake", and is essentially what you pay us to play on our site.
We operate a No Flop - No Drop policy, meaning that we will not take any rake from hands that do not reach the flop.
So how does it work?
The rake is calculated by both the size of the pot and the number of players in the game. Here is how the number of players affects the rake taken:
| Table type | Maximum rake pr number of players: | ||
| 2 players | 3-4 players | 5+ players | |
| 25/50 NL Hold’em | 1 units ($/£/€) | 2 units ($/£/€) | 5 units ($/£/€) |
| All other tables | 1 units ($/£/€) | 2 units ($/£/€) | 3 units ($/£/€) |
On the Heads Up (1-on-1) tables, the rake structure is as follows:
| Game Stakes | Pot Size ($/£/€) | Rake ($/£/€) |
| 2/4 | 5 | 0.25 |
| 10 | 0.50 | |
| 15 | 0.75 | |
| 20 | 1.00 | |
| 3/6 | 5 | 0.25 |
| 10 | 0.50 | |
| 15 | 0.75 | |
| 20 | 1.00 | |
| 5/10 | 10 | 0.50 |
| 20 | 1.00 | |
| 10/20 and higher | 20 | 1.00 |
| 40 | 2.00 |
