APRA to hold 2006 summit in Miami

The Miami Convention Center will host the American Poker Run Association (APRA) summit 2006.

APRA was created as an effort to protect the ongoing growth of the game with the cooperation of poker run organisers, dealers and boat manufacturers.

The 2006 summit will happen during the Miami Boat Show, which takes place on February 17th.

It will provide an opportunity for experienced poker-run organisers, suppliers, boat builders and insurance companies to work with new poker-run organisers.

The event also aims to achieve a standard set of guidelines for safety rules and procedures, which would suit participants, and organisers of performance boating poker-run events alike.
