Taking a leaf out of the US government's book, law enforcement officials in Florida have decided to utilise a pack of poker cards to catch criminals.
Mimicking the 52 cards published by the US government with the most wanted war criminals from the Iraq conflict, a new set has been created to assist in the hunt for southern Florida's crooks.
Each of the 52 cards features a photo of the victim of an unsolved crime in the southern part of the state.
However, the cards will not be distributed among members of the public but instead to convicted inmates.
The hope is that as poker is such a popular pastime with prisoners, they will recognise the victims on the stack of cards and help to solve the crime.
And it seems the poker crime fighting initiative is working as two criminals have already been brought to justice as a result.
