WPT finale at the Bellagio

Around 600 players from around the world will descend on the famous Bellagio for the World Poker Tour (WPT) Season IV finale.

And there could be some world record prizes on offer with the winner hoping to pocket more than $3.5 million while the three top spots may exceed $1 million.

Taking place between April 18th and April 24th, the total prize pool looks set to be between $12 and $15 million.

There is a $25,000 buy-in and WPT players such as Phil "The Unabomber" Laak and Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari are all set to play in the tournament.

Doug Dalton, Bellagio poker spokesman, said: "We are excited to host the WPT World Championship for the fourth consecutive year.

"The pots are getting higher and the number of participants is growing with every tournament. Bellagio is proud to be a part of this phenomenon."
