Record Q1 results for CryptoLogic

CryptoLogic, the award-winning software provider that powers InterPoker, has seen record profits in the first quarter of 2006.

Total revenue for the company has risen by 33 per cent while earnings have risen sharply also – up to 58 per cent.

Lewis Rose, CryptoLogic president and CEO, said: "It's been another excellent quarter for CryptoLogic, with results that surpassed our expectations.

"CryptoLogic's innovative casino games and expanding poker offering continue to be major growth drivers.

"The results: record revenue and earnings that validate the strength of CryptoLogic's strategy, products and customer discipline."

Fees from CryptoLogic's internet poker software grew by 74 per cent up to $9.6 million, which represented 36 per cent of the total revenue in the first quarter of 2006.
