Magazine Poker Pro Europe has announced that it has agreed a new deal for distribution in airports and on major airlines across Europe.
The distribution agreement will see more than 50,000 Poker Pro Europe magazines per month placed in airports and on board flights. More than 8,000 retail outlets will stock the magazine such as WH Smith, One-Stop Stores, Rippleglen, Balfours and Spar.
Las Vegas-based magazine company Poker Pro has revealed that the deal involves a host of major airlines, including BA, Virgin Atlantic, Continental, American Airlines and Air France.
Under the terms of the agreement, a number of other airlines will be ABC audited, offering additional circulation for advertisers to "the highest level of AB passengers within the aviation industry".
Poker Pro Europe managing director, Will Jordan, said: "The initial response to the announcement of the launching of Poker Pro Europe was so enthusiastic that we had to raise the stakes and bump up circulation."
"Poker is set to explode in Europe, and players are hungry for information," publisher Dan Jacobs added. "Poker Pro Europe will capture the drama and the fun of European poker, both in cardrooms and on the growing European tournament circuit."
Poker Pro Europe will debut in September 2006 and feature Poker Pro's mix of profiles, advice and strategy tips from the world's top poker professionals, with a European slant. It will also be available in casinos, cardrooms and newsagents throughout English-speaking Europe.
