Brunson tips "video conference poker"

2006-06-27 18:25:00

Doyle Brunson, the well-known poker pro, has stated in his new book that online poker players may soon be able to view each other in cyber space.

The poker star was talking about the future of the industry in his upcoming book Super System II, reports Casino City Times.

He wrote: "Poker will be like a video conference and you'll be able to focus on the players across the table from you and read them."

And one unnamed website is planning to introduce webcam technology in the future – although players will be given a choice as to whether they wish to remain anonymous.

Brunson added that seeing your opponent would be a great addition to the game because "nothing will be missing" and it will lead to "full-scale psychological warfare".
