A record number of women have entered this year's Ladies No-Limit Hold'Em tournament at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Led by Oscar-nominated actress and last year's winner, Jennifer Tilly, the number of women entering this year's event has jumped significantly and there is a host of top poker players and Hollywood stars set to take part.
One team of Hollywood stars includes the likes of Anne Heche, Ricki Lake and Mena Suvari, while Elle magazine has sent a team which mixes stars such as Tilly with its own staff, such as executive Hillary Kerr.
This year's field will see over 1,128 women taking part in the event, which is the largest number in poker history by some margin, according to the WSOP.
Jeffrey Pollack, commissioner of the WSOP, commented on last year's winner: "Jennifer Tilly has helped fuel the explosive growth in the popularity of women's poker."
