This year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) will see a welcome return for the Horse event after it was dropped from the calendar last year.
Horse, which stands for Hold 'Em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, Eight or Better, is believed by many to be a true test of a player's poker skills, as it covers five different variations of the game across the event.
The Horse tournament will be the 20th event at the 2006 WSOP and will see a turn out of 143 players - each having paid a record $50,000 buy-in.
Norman Chad, ESPN analyst, explained the advantages he sees in bringing back Horse to the WSOP.
He said: "I was not happy when they got rid of it last year. A lot of us always thought that the actual Main Event should be this event because you've got to play well in five different games, so it's more of a test of how good a player you are than just playing No Limit Hold'Em."
The event winner will bag themselves $1.8 million, while second prize stands at $1 million.
