An ET star has declared their adoration of poker &ndash but it is not ET itself.
Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is said to be keen to play as many hands as she can following her role in new poker-based film, Lucky You.
"Now that I don't have to stay true to the movie for my character, I'm planning to pick up as many tips as I can from the experts so I can go home and kick my friends' butts,' the 31-year-old actress said.
The movie focuses on an encounter between singer Barrymore and a poker pro at the 2003 World Series of Poker.
Previously ignorant of the game, the Charlie's Angels star took up the game and got into the swing of things thanks to the help of the professionals brought in to help.
Despite her new-found love of the game, Barrymore is likely to continue to have acting as her main career rather than join the scores of others who make a living out of poker.
