Basketball and poker celebrities will be descending on Minnesota next month for a special charity poker event.
The tournament, put together by former NBA star Trent Tucker and called the Eighth Annual Trent Tucker Celebrity Golf and Poker Tournament, will take on September 8th and 9th.
The poker part of the event will feature a $2,500 buy in game on the first day at the Canterbury Park racetrack followed by golf on the second day at the Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove.
Many celebrities will be taking part in both events, including Tucker's fellow former NBA stars Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Charles Oakley and poker professionals such as Johnny Chan, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and Phil Ivey.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Trent Tucker Youth Program which aims to help disadvantaged youngsters in risk groups and inner cities and is evidence of the good that the game of poker can do.
Tucker told the Pioneer Press: "It is going to be an amazing event that will allow us to further our impact on the community."
