InterPoker has announced that its knockout league is making a return this October.
The event, which sees players attempting to make it through to the next week's play, is a wonderful test of skill and nerve.
Each week, all qualifying players start with zero My Poker Points and have to build up their stash in the hope of having sufficient points to progress through to the next round of play, when the competition begins again.
Getting through the first round is likely to be one of the hardest feats, with just 500 seats up for grabs in the second round. From there, the competition progresses until just 40 players are left by the final week.
As well as prizes for those who make it to the latter stages of the month's tournament, there also are weekly handouts and those who do get knocked out receive consolation free rolls.
The prize for the overall winner is a seat at the Caribbean Poker Classic, worth $11,300.
