Poker trading cards to be released

A "heroes of poker" series of trading cards is set to launch by Poker Royalty and Razor Entertainment at US national retail chains.
Today's "hottest" poker champions will be showcased in the collection, including Scotty Nguyen, Chris Moneymaker, and 82 other cards featuring players from the past, present and memorable matches.
Razor Entertainment's president Josh Pankow said: "This set's value will go well beyond its initial offering price and will remain a collector's item for a long time to come."
The modern version of the ancient and long-coveted baseball card has already hit the shelves of Wal-mart, Target and others and is available extensively by private online retailer.
Poker Royalty's executive vice president James Sullivan believes the demand for poker memorabilia is at an all-time high and said: "The Razor poker trading card set is a wonderful opportunity for poker professionals to become more recognizable to poker fans both domestically and abroad."
The poker celebrity trading cards are available in packs of six or boxes of 24 cards where two "autograph" in each box.
