The teams for the forthcoming Professional Poker League (PPL) were decided in Las Vegas earlier this week.
The eight, eight-player teams will compete against each other in a series of weekly marches in this made for the television event.
Teams were decided in a series of drafts, in which the two captains of each outfit were able to pick one player for their side per round, report Online Casinos.
Pairs of captains included TJ Cloutier and Dewey Tomko, Chris Ferguson and Ted Forrest as well as Mike Sexton and Cyndy Violette.
Anticipation had been growing ahead of the draw and now that the teams have been finalised, the fun of getting behind your favourite side is set to begin.
It is thought that the action will take place this January at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas in what is expected to be some of the highest quality poker ever seen.
