PokerNews has launched a new service for Scandinavian gamers, a dedicated Finnish language website.
PokerNews Finland will bring all the latest gaming and gambling news and views to the far north-eastern corner of Europe, where poker has become more and more popular in recent years.
Indeed, the company claims that a higher proportion of Scandinavia's population play poker than anywhere else in the world.
"I'm very pleased about the launch of Poker News Finland. Poker here in Finland has been a big thing for a while now both on- and offline," said Atte Jalonen, the editor of PokerNews Finland.
"The Finnish site will provide all Finnish speaking players with the latest news from our country and around the world. I believe Scanadavian poker players, Finnish especially, are amongst the most talented in the world," he added.
The site follows previous sites being established in a country's native language, with China, Japan, Russia and France among the fourteen PokerNews websites.
