Poker returns to the home of the World Series

A new poker party for over 300 players is being organised at Binion's Hotel and Casino, the place where the World Series of Poker first began.

World Tavern Poker, the premier bar poker league in the United States, is hosing the #1 Bar Poker League for players from across the country between October 20th and 23rd 2006.

Historic Binion's in Las Vegas will witness four days of events, with poker tournaments, parties and the third World Tavern Poker Open.

Organisers claims that the tournament will be the "World's best poker party" and highlights include a new River Madness contest, Team Texas Hold 'Em, two free tournaments for World Tavern Poker national qualifiers, a women's tournament, a speed poker event, a pub crawl and a new Bloody Mary Tournament.

Binion's will host more than eight cash tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $75 to $200 and poker legends Doyle Brunson, Amarillo Slim and Johnny Chan are also scheduled to appear.
