Poker industry to gather in Costa Rica

The second annual Poker Industry Expo has a new agenda to go over, given the severity of the US ban on the online gaming industry.
Management, marketing and technology are the now-traditional topics of the exposition, but the new legislation banning banks from processing online poker room transactions will inspire a forum for affected businesses to plan for the future.
North Dakota congressman James M Kasper will discuss the new law implications on the poker industry from a legal perspective on the outset of the expo's first day.
One of the most anxiously awaited discussion groups includes one on proposed payment alternatives and many online poker affiliates and payment operators will be attending the conference to discuss these options.
Some of the biggest names in poker, like Mike Caro and Doyle Brunson, were at the first expo, and even more poker affiliates are expected at this year's event.
The Poker Industry Expo will take place the weekend of December 3rd and 4th, at the San Jose Palacio Hotel in Costa Rica.
