Cryptologic launches new online poker leader board

Innovative new leader board software has given online poker tournaments a new dimension, with players and operators alike able to benefit from the new system.

Designed and launched by Cryptologic, the Canadian gambling software developer, the leader board allows players to chart their progress against their rivals, as well as giving tournament administrators the option to alter current systems and create new mini-tournaments, or even private leagues.

To coincide with the launch, Cryptologic is running a money-spinning promotional campaign, with some $300,000 on offer.

The Autumn Windfall campaign runs until November 19th, with ambitious players will be looking to take advantage and scoop the rewards, which are based on the new leader board system.

The top 150 players on the board will get a share of the prize money. Three tournaments per day will go towards leader board rankings.

"Innovations like the tournament leader board and Hold'Em Blackjack, announced last week, meet the needs and desires of online players throughout the world," said Lewis Rose, Cryptologic president and CEO.

With Cryptologic poker rooms also offering monthly bonuses for players, the deal is expected to attract astute players who think they have what it takes to succeed.
