The Toronto-based gambling software developer Cryptologic has added Scandinavian company Betsafe to its roster as it flexes its muscles after becoming the world's largest non-US shared poker network.
The three-year deal between Betsafe and Cryptologic is intended to introduce a new look to the online poker lounge and introduce an entirely new package to the established poker room.
Betsafe CEO Andre Lavold is certain the match is a good one and based his decision on Cryptologic's strength in the European markets.
"When we decided to expand our poker room, we knew we wanted a trusted software provider," he said.
"Cryptologic's suite of innovative, exclusive games will bring new excitement to our poker players across Europe and beyond."
Mr Lavold also alluded to the integrity of the Cryptologic software models as a deciding factor for his decision.
Cryptologic is currently working on a number of different launches and expansions of poker sites, including the much anticipated Playboy site.
