CryptoLogic to support new live poker venue

The forthcoming launch of what will be the biggest live poker venue in Europe has been boosted by the news that leading software developer CryptoLogic is to provide technologies in support of its online division.
The DuskTillDawn project will see a live poker arena &ndash the UK's first such dedicated venue &ndash open in Nottingham in April 2007, with an online version already up and running.
As provider to the world's largest shared poker network not including the US, CryptoLogic will provide the venture with the best possible grounding in gambling industry knowledge and technologies.
"We had a number of offers from other online poker software providers but as poker players we knew that CryptoLogic's poker network is the biggest and best in Europe, has significant capacity to grow, and is highly secure," said managing director of DuskTillDawn Rob Young.
"This agreement reinforces CryptoLogic's focus on Europe - and our commitment to maintaining our global leadership in internet poker. It's about giving players a superior poker experience - from 'dusk till dawn', around the clock and around the world," confirmed CryptoLogic president and chief executive Lewis Rose.
