Professionals offer advice at InterPoker

A series of poker professionals have contributed advice to the InterPoker.com website in an effort to aid online gamblers in their attempts to emulate the highly-skilled players.

The InterPoker strategy section features articles from Kathy Liebert, Pete 'The Beat' Giordano and Juha Helppi, with subjects ranging from final table play to a guide to turning professional.

The latest gambling survey revealing that the majority of online casino players, if not online poker players, were now female, and professional Kathy Liebert has provided a number of tips to help boost the online female poker player count.

Ms Liebert recommends taking advantages of preconceptions in order to surprise opponents, commenting that "many poker players underestimate women players".

Liebert was the first woman to win a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, while Juha Helppi rose to fame over five years ago as one of the circuit's top young players and has since scooped hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of prize money.

Giordano, meanwhile, has won events at Foxwoods, in the Bahamas and at the WSOP itself over the course of a nine-year career.
