The Wynn Las Vegas Casino resort is set to host its first annual Wynn Poker Classic tournament for the 19 days between Wednesday February 21st ad March 11th.
The pit of the casino will be cleared of its usual games tables and slot machines and transformed into a 25-table tournament arena, with players able to monitor game lists and enjoy live action.
Buy-ins for the limit and no-limit hold'em tournaments will range from $500 to $10,000, with a $1,000 Omaha eight-or-better and a $1,000 mixed event also scheduled over the course of the classic.
"We're excited about the Wynn Classic, "the tournament's director, Dave Eglseder, said.
"Hotel executives and staff have gone all out to make this a first-class experience," he added.
With top poker players expected to flock to the Wynn resort for the event, the casino's Players Club booth will be made available to service tournament participants, while the amenities both inside the resort and on the Strip will take care of all the players' needs.
