An online gambler who secured second place in a lucrative tournament earlier in the year has been unable to access his money due to the ongoing Neteller problems, it has been reported.
Isaac Haxton lost out to PhD student Ryan Daut in the final stages of the World Poker Tour (WPT) event, with Daut claiming the $1.5 million first prize despite Haxton's initial chip lead.
Haxton was still able to claim $800,000 in winnings of his own, but is now unable to access them, Online-Casinos.com has reported.
Citing a YouTube video detailing the player's misfortune, the website notes that the Haxton had placed his money in a Neteller account while considering what his next move would be.
However, with the Department of Justice consequently freezing all Neteller accounts indefinitely following the arrest of its founders, Haxton is now unable to reap the rewards of his impressive poker play.
