A number of big named are going to be involved in this year's Irish poker open due to a large prize fund.
Organisers of the event have confirmed that Mike Sexton, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, and Antonio Esfandiari will be making the trip from the US to hopefully take home some of the €2 million guaranteed prize money.
The event is being held over the Easter weekend at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin and is one of the longest running tournaments on the world poker circuit.
Celebrating its 26th year, the Irish poker open has now one of the largest prize pools in Europe and has played a key role in ensuring the ongoing popularity of No Limit Holdem in Ireland and across Europe.
Last year, local Dubliner Vincent Melinn took home the €350,000 first prize from the final table in a game televised throughout the world.
