Phil Hellmuth has entered the history books with 11th World Series of Poker (WSoP) bracelet win, breaking the ten-bracelet record shared by Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan.
Entering the final table of the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event in second place, Hellmuth soon claimed an early lead and took control of the table, before beating Andy Philachack at the heads-up hand, reports UltimateBet.net.
Until this year, Hellmuth shared the ten-bracelet record with Brunson and Chan, but he has now left them behind to enjoy his new record and his $637,254 win.
However, it seems likely that the Hold'em champion will go for a 12th bracelet win at this year's WSoP tournament.
In fact, Sportsbook.com has Hellmuth at 7-2 odds to win more money at this year's main event then any other player. Both Chan and Brunson are at 4-1 odds.
