WSoP sponsor launches Texas Hold'em competition

The official presenting sponsor of the World Series of Poker (WSoP), Milwaukee's Best Light, has launched its seven-week Online Virtual Poker Challenge promotion.
Between June 3rd and July 22nd, gamblers are invited by the beer brand to play Texas Hold'em poker and attempt to increase their points to position themselves for the weekly grand prize tournament.
Grand prize winners will be awarded seats to next year's $10,000 buy-in WSoP championship event.
"Milwaukee's Best Light has been the beer of choice at countless poker games around the country for years," said Kevin Rutherford, Milwaukee's Best Light senior brand manager.
"So what better way to show our appreciation than by giving poker players a chance to win a seat to the most prestigious poker tournament in the world?"
Milwaukee's Best Light is made by Miller Brewing Company, the second largest brewery in the US.
