WSoP Europe to be launched in US

The official launch party of the World Series of Poker (WSoP) Europe is taking place tonight but it won't be held in the UK or on mainland Europe.
Instead, organisers have decided to host the event in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace's Pure Nightclub.
At present, pre-registrations are open for WSoP Europe at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and on the event website.
But satellites and pre-registration for the European tournament will also take place between September 6th and 16th at Caesars Palace.
Single-table satellites with $2,200 buy-ins will grant seats to the £10,000, 750-player main event.
According to WSoP sponsors Betfair, the main event prize pool is expected to exceed $15,000,000.
The inaugural WSoP Europe will be hosted at three casinos operated by London Clubs International.
