Ciaran O'Leary interviewed by PokerAllstar

2007-08-07 14:18:41

PokerAllstar.com has interviewed Ciaran O'Leary, the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSoP) champion in the $1,500 No-limit Hold'em poker tournament.

It is the first in a series of interviews with poker champions and rising stars who featured in this year's WSoP tournament.

The interview was conducted by Kurt Stine, the publisher of ComKings, which manages the poker website.

"Ciaran is an exceptionally happy and intense individual that rattles off percentages and strategies as easily as school children recite their ABCs," Mr Stine remarked.

"He was an enjoyable person to interview and made my work easier than I anticipated."

The second interview in the series is with Kelly Jo McGlothlin, one of two women to finish in the top 100 players of this year's WSoP Main Event.

Last week, PokerLizard.com announced that it will release several "blockbuster" interviews with top poker professionals on its website over the coming weeks.

Among the interviewees are Chad Brown, Bluff Magazine 2006 player of the year and Brian Townsend, considered by many to be the best online no-limit player in the world.
