Poker room ends summer with weekday tournaments

An online poker room has announced it will host a featured tournament on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights during September.
Everest Poker's Survive the Workweek tournaments offer a number of rewards, including a $20,000 guaranteed cash prize, a poker trip to Australia and an opportunity to play at a European Poker Tour event.
The online poker firm said the tournaments were a way of marking the end of summer and the beginning of fall.
"We really wanted to do something special for our players to make them feel a bit better about summer ending, and this fits the bill," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager.
"We've put together a really unique package that offers our players the chance to play at some great tournaments, or walk away with a big cash prize."
Everest Poker claims to be the first multi-national, multi-lingual Hold'em poker destination dedicated to bringing together poker enthusiasts from around the globe.
