A poker final is to be held in the Caribbean, but rather than taking place in a comfortable resort this event will be underwater.
This is part of the Extreme Poker tournament, which this week saw poker player participate in a knock-out game of Texas Hold'em in Sydney Harbour.
On this occasion, players were placed in a transparent platform 90 metres over a sheer drop in very strong winds.
Previous events have seen poker players who lost a game jump out of an airplane over Las Vegas, while others have huddled in the Arctic wastes of Finland.
Organiser Peter Marcus said: "This is by far the hardest, most extreme event and the most scary event we've ever put on."
The Caribbean underwater challenge is to take place in December, which should allow enough time for poker players to pick up some helpful scuba diving tips.
