Just 40 players are left in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Baden classic following a second day of action.
Yesterday's chip leader Sander Lyloff has been eliminated while second and third-placed players Gyoergy Moger and Manfred Hammer are in 23rd and 28th respectively.
Star Barny Boatman crashed out early while last year's winner Thang Duc Nguyen also went bust.
Other big name casualties include previous EPT winners John Shipley (who has won in London) and Mats Iremark (who has won in Deauville).
Swiss competitor Anton Alleman now heads the pack with 140,000 chips, with countryman Acar Mazlum following closely behind with 136,000.
Daniel Magnas from Spain rounds out the top three with 134,500 chips.
EPT: Baden began with 281 players on Sunday, each competing for a first place prize of 670,800 ($941,757).
The final table will take place tomorrow (Thursday).
