Upcoming conference for poker players in California

The first-ever California Poker Players Conference will take place on October 20th and 21st at the Hollywood Casino in Inglewood, California.

According to Casino Gambling Web, next week's event "cannot be missed".

The price of admission to the two-day conference will be $180 and several professional poker players will speak.

Poker author and theorist Mike Caro will give the main speech, while other luminaries such as Barbara Enright, Tony Guerrera and Stan Sludikoff will also appear.

Mr Caro is famous for his endorsement of online poker and his prediction that it would become a huge success.

Leader of the Poker Players Alliance John Pappas will also speak.

Pokernews.com quote Phyllis Caro, the director of poker operations at the Hollywood Park Casino, as saying: "attendees will gain more solid information about winning poker during this two-day conference than they could ever hope for."
