Masters Classic of Poker event has 2,080 participants already

The build-up to the 16th edition of the Masters Classic of Poker (MCP) is going well, according to hosts Holland Casino.
At least 2,080 poker players have already signed up for the Dutch event, which will begin on November 2nd.
The MCP has consistently been one of Europe's most popular tournament series with last year's prize pool measuring over €3.3 million ($4.7 million). This total is expected to be eclipsed this year.
No-limit Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha will be the poker games on display with eight different tournaments taking place throughout the duration.
From November 7th the main event - the Lido Poker Tournament - will begin, which will have 400 entrants.
Those who reach the Lido final will be given free entry to next year's event.
Mischa Neuteboom won last year's tournament, taking home €36,840.
