Poker After Dark starts new run

Top television poker show Poker After Dark has started up again this week with a run of new episodes.

Jamie Gold, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Matusow, Paul Wasicka, Alan Boston and Mike Sexton all featured in this week's episode which runs from Monday to Saturday.

The producers seem to expect a lot of table talk, calling Matusow and Boston masters of the art, while Esfandiari might chip in too.

It boasts a quality line-up, with Matusow having won two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, Sexton and Esfandiari having won one each and Gold having won the 2006 WSOP Main Event while Wasicka finished runner-up.

The hour-long show airs on NBC and the website states about this episode: "With so much talent gathered at one poker table, it's time to bring the noise."

Esfandiari and Gold are both expected to appear at the Great British Poker Tour grand final this week.
