WPT World Poker Finals - day 1b

Another day of action at the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Poker Finals has been completed.

From 338 players at the start of the day, 123 were eliminated. The remaining 215 will join the 151 from day 1a in the next round.

Among the big names taking part on Thursday were six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Men Nguyen, former WPT champion Gavin Smith, former World Poker Finals champion Nick Schulman and two-time WSOP bracelet winners Jeff Madsen and Tony Ma.

Incidentally, all of these big names were on Table #36, called by Card Player "the worst table draw of the day."

Teddy Adalas led the chip count with 186,775, over 29,000 more than yesterday's leader Michael Farr.

Matthew Erhlich was in second place on the day with 154,500 and Tom Dwan was third with 134,500.

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Freddy Deeb was sixth.
