Poker tutorials for mobile phones

A series of short poker tutorials are being released by I-play to appear on mobile phones.

The two-to-three minute videos are aimed at all levels of poker ability and will feature three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu.

Already available in the UK to O2 and T-Mobile users, the producer is expanding its distribution and hoping to get others to sign up.

The videos are split in to five different categories: Advanced, Beginner, Tournament Tips, Winning Secrets and Bluffs & Tells.

I-play developed programme Win at Texas Hold 'em Poker, which "impressed" Pocketgamer.co.uk.

The videos were filmed at the famous Venetian Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas, which is owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.

According to Mobile Game FAQs, Negreanue is "arguably the most successful tournament player in poker history".

The website stated that it believes that I-play are keeping poker alive on the mobile phone.
