Norwegian poker prodigy Anette Obrestad has been given the accolade for tournament performance of the year at this year's European Poker Awards.
The 19-year-old won £1 million ($2.04 million) at the World Series of Poker Europe main event when she was still only 18.
It was the highest amount of money ever won by a woman in a single poker tournament.
Obrestad said: "I am so happy to win this award. I prefer this one than rookie of the year because I was up against such great players.
"I am still learning so much. There are still a lot of areas of my live game that can improve [
] but I am getting better all the time."
Obrestad recently appeared in a top ten list of highest-earning female poker players compiled by PokerNews.
She was in third place behind Kathy Liebert and Annie Duke.
