2008-02-08 16:14:16

Poker players will get the chance to win prizes such as a 42-inch LCD TV while raising money for charity in a Texas hold 'em tournament in aid of Helping Hands.

Other prizes include a Sony DVD Home Theater Sound System and barbeques for those who come in third and fourth, reports the Mason Valley News.

There will also be a raffle where prizes range from gift certificates to a ton of hay, as well as golf at the Dayton Valley Country Club.

It is the second outing for the event, officially titled the Josh Farler Memorial Texas Hold 'Em, and is open to players aged 21 and over.

Buy-in stands at $50, with the option of two $50 re-buys, and the action takes place on February 16th at the Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley, Texas.

Helping Hands Foundation is a charity which aids the families of children with upper limb differences.
