Staudenmaier challenges for OPOY lead

Luke Staudenmaier, known in some circles as IWEARGOGGLES, has risen to second place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) rankings after posting a big score.
Bret "Bhanks11" Hanks has had a decent lead at the top of the list for many weeks, but he is under massive pressure from Staudenmaier, who is now within 88 points of the top position.
IWEAGOGGLES scored 1,200 points over the weekend thanks to a high profile runner-up spot, giving him 2,956 points in total.
He has now made 2,400 in the last two weeks, with Bhanks11 failing to generate a single point.
Another 1,200-point score came Staudenmaier's way in a Sunday Warmup victory on March 9th.
The professional's recent form means that Brian "Sno0oWMAN" Hawkins is now in third, followed by anonymous tomgus456 and Russell "rdscrn" Carson.
Last year's winner, Isaac "WestmenloAA" Baron, is sixth.
