The big names continue to fall at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Of the 400 who started day two, only 123 progressed to day three - and some of the world's most decorated players were not among them.
Included in the list of top stars who failed to make it was Daniel Negreanu, who wrote in his Full Contact Poker blog afterwards that he did not mind being eliminated because he played well throughout the event.
He was joined by Gus Hansen, Vanessa Rousso, Patrik Antonius and Barry Greenstein, who also crashed out.
Ovvind Riisem is the new chip leader with 411,000, ahead of Joe Hachem, who is hoping to follow in Gavin Griffin's footsteps and complete the sport's triple crown by adding a EPT title to his World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour accolades.
Also making it through were Marcel Luske and Ted Lawson, as well as former football professional Tomas Brolin.
