Only 39 players remain standing at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
The Magician Antonio Esfandiari has the chip lead with 1,198,000, ahead of Robin Keston with 916,000.
Denes Kalo and Johnny Lodden round out the top four in a chip table ruled by Europeans.
Among the big name fallers from the third day were Neil Channing, Marcel Luske, Sorel Mizzi, Ted Lawson and Surinder Sunar, who was the last player to go to the rail before the money bubble burst.
Meanwhile, Joe Hachem, Isaac Baron and Freddy Deeb are all still in the competition, as is former professional footballer Tomas Brolin, who scraped into the last 39 in 37th place.
Should Esfandiari manage to hold on to his lead and win the EPT title, he will follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Gavin Griffin, who became the first person ever to receive silverware from the EPT, the World Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker.
