GhettoFabolous and Bhanks11 tussle for OPOY second place

The battle for second place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) table has raged this week.

GhettoFabolous continued his rise to the top of the rankings with a storming last third of April, knocking Brent "Bhanks11" Hanks down to third position at the end of the month.

His time in the runner-up spot was short-lived, however, with Hanks re-taking second place with a 36-point score on Sunday.

Bhanks11 has a precarious eight-point advantage over his rival on 3,092, which is 268 less than current leader Brian "SNo0oWMAN" Hawkins.

But if GhettoFabolous continues his excellent form, which includes making 776 points in just ten days last month, it may not be long before he has the top spot.

Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron, last year's competition winner, appears to be making a serious attempt to retain his title after a period away competing at the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

He has made 40 points in the last two weeks, the first contributions to his total since February.
