Poker up one on Lycos list

Poker has stayed in the Lycos top 50 rankings for the second-week in a row.

The card game was the 40th most popular search term used last week - one spot higher than it was in the proceeding seven-day period.

Poker has demonstrated how unsecure a term's place can be on the list in recent months, dropping out of the list several times, but its May performance has been far more consistent than a lot of other big names.

Eva Longoria for example was number nine two weeks ago, but last week was beneath poker in 42nd spot.

NBA on the other hand rose above poker to 40th place, as the playoffs move closer towards their conclusion.

Miley Cyrus was the top search term this week, followed by YouTube and Clay Aiken.

Poker's rise may be attributable to Harrah's Entertainment moving the final table of the World Series of Poker main event to several months after the rest of the tournament.
