Negreanu 'not happy' with WSOG performance

2008-05-14 16:42:14

Daniel Negreanu claims he did well with the poker side of things at the World Series of Golf (WSOG) this week.

However, the golf part of the tournament did not go so well, he told his Full Contact Poker blog readers.

The three-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) event winner wrote that he "did everything right betting wise, but simply didn't execute".

Allen Cunningham, on the other hand apparently did well with his clubs, despite making numerous bad bets.

Negreanu and Cunningham were in the same group at the WSOG but Negreanu did not comment on how Clever Piggy recently overtook him in poker's all-time money list.

Cunningham moved past the $10 million mark after a big tournament win at Caesars Palace.

Negreanu is within a few hundred thousand dollars of his friend but will have to be satisfied with lying fifth in the overall table for now, until he gets the chance to move back up again at the WSOP at the end of this month.
