The quality of the field at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) this year could be a little bit tougher if Roy Winston has managed to work his magic on Jay Berger.
Berger has been learning some skills from the World Poker Tour titlist and is going to be let loose at the Rio casino in Las Vegas next month, according to Winston's Card Player blog.
Speaking after Berger studied his play at the Commerce casino a few days ago, Winston remarked: "Jay said he learned a lot and I guess I will unleash him at the WSOP and see how he does."
Should Berger perform well it could be a good advert for Winston's new poker consultancy, which he has set up with fellow top player Michael Binger.
The Oracle is launching the advice service at the WSOP and claimed how Berger performs could indicate whether he is a decent teacher or not.
Neither Winston nor Berger has ever won a WSOP bracelet.
