Hawkins moves ahead of Baron in OPOY race

The changes at the top of Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) table continued this weekend as former frontrunner Brian "SNo0oWMAN" Hawkins moved into second place ahead of Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron.
Hawkins made 200 points for finishing eighth in a big event on Sunday, giving him a 190-point advantage over the reigning champion in third.
With a total of 3,736, the internet star is still 272 behind leader Halfrek, however, who is the only person to have generated more than 4,000 points so far this season.
Matt "plattsburgh" Vengrin, who finished Sunday's tournament in front of Hawkins in second, earned 1,000 points and moved into fifth position on 3,488.
FishOnTilt and Craig "MrCasino" Gray both made progress last week and now lie in 19th and 20th place respectively.
David Singer, who won the biggest buy-in in internet poker history over the weekend, failed to break into the top 20.
