2008-06-12 13:01:50

Mike Matusow has won his third World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet by finishing first in a $5,000 no-limit two-seven draw lowball with re-buys tournament.

The Australian, known as the Mouth, beat Jeff Lisandro in the heads-up to join 22 others with three bracelets in their trophy collections.

Notable triple winners include Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda, Chau Giang, Lyle Berman and hall-of-famer Chip Reese.

Barry Greenstein would have become a three-time winner too had he managed to come first, but he instead finished in third position.

He was followed by Erick Lindgren, Tom Schneider, Tony G and David Benyamine on a stacked final table.

No other bracelets were awarded yesterday, but a further two are up for grabs tonight as events 19 and 20 come to their conclusion.

Famous players in with a good chance of a title include Vanessa Selbst and Eugene Todd, who both made the last nine in event 19.
