Greenstein heads up weekend's WSOP winners

2008-06-16 15:47:44

Barry Greenstein was the biggest name to add to their World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet collection over the weekend.

The Robin Hood of Poker secured his third title by winning a $1,500 seven-card razz tournament.

His victory last night followed successes by Scott Seiver, Jens Voertmann, Blair Hinkle, Marco Pescatori and David Tran.

Pescatori was the only one of the five to have won a WSOP bracelet before and now holds two of the coveted accolades.

Hinkle's victory perhaps caused the biggest stir, however, as it followed on from his brother Grant's triumph in event two.

It was the first time in the history of the WSOP that two siblings have won bracelets in the same year.

The duo will no doubt be looking to continue their collective haul and move closer to arguably the most successful poker siblings of all-time - Howard Lederer and Annie Duke - who have three bracelets between them.
