Phan wins again at WSOP

John Phan has become the first player of the year to win two events at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
The man known as Razor secured the first bracelet of his illustrious career last week and followed it up with another victory last night in event 40.
Shun Uchida was the Vietnamese-American's victim in the heads-up of the $2,500 limit two-seven triple draw lowball tournament.
Gioi Luong, Robert Mizrachi, Ben Ponzio and David Sklansky took up the other final table positions - in that order.
Phan's win makes him one of the few players to have won more than one WSOP title in the same year.
Frank Gary also received a WSOP bracelet last night after event 41.
Gary took down the $1,500 mixed hold'em tournament by beating Jonathan Tamayo in the heads-up.
Nick Binger was third, followed by Chris Rentes, Alex Jalali, David Machowsky, Mats Gavatin, Michael Chu and David Sorger.
Phan received $151,896 for his victory, while Gary was presented with a cheque worth $219,217.
