Collins closes in on OPOY lead

Philip 'USCphildo' Collins is within touching distance of the top of Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) table after notching up his best score of the season over the weekend.
Collins finished second in a major tournament on Sunday, which gave him 900 points and lifted him into second place.
The internet star, who was recently seen at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, now has a total of 4,342, leaving him just 300 points behind leader Brian 'SNo0oWMAN' Hawkins.
Alex 'AJKHoosier' Kamberis is a further 206 points behind in third, ahead of Shaun Deeb, who also rocketed up the rankings on Sunday.
The online professional received 1,080 points for a tournament victory - his second score of more than 1,000 so far this season.
His successes have also helped lift him to fifth place in Bluff Magazine's OPOY rankings, where he lies ahead of Hawkins, Collins and Kamberis.
